Go jump in a lake

what i've been up to since the last time we blogged:

- visited colourfully wooden Habo church
- went to Jönköping kultur day in which there were more people on the bus back home than there was out in the festival the whole day. woo hoo Jönköping the party town
- swam in a lake. sun was out and it was beautiful but the water was still freezing since it is autumn in sweden after all. discovered serenity.
- went to a farmers market, which again by Jönköping standards means 3 stalls with a couple of apples and a handful of eggs for sale. no i exaggerate, there were 7 stalls
- discovered free movies on youtube
- made pizza without yeast..
..but it was actually really yum
- played risk with katie, her grandma and fam!
- finished my TEFL course
- found an app that teaches you how to speak chiu chow language (chinese dialect that my dad and his fam speak)! intend to learn some handy phrases such as "please pass the soy sauce" and "next year i'll have another baby so you can shout me dinner"
- started teaching my flatmates swedish in the evening
- having a really good time at the salvation army. its been great cos i've been there a bit longer now so have gotten to know some of the guys there better so have some regular ones who i tutor and work with. they're all really good guys and actually appreciate someone to practice english with so thats been really encouraging. definitely a lot of fun.

i've got about one more month in sweden, which feels about right. still haven't really missed home at all, especially not with the shoddy weather i hear you guys've been having but i hope you all are well and drop me a line!
